Apple's "Spring Forward" March 9 Event

Apple sent out media invitations on February 26, 2015 for an event being held on March 9, 2015. This event is rumored to be mainly about the Apple Watch, with information such as price points, battery life and other details that Apple has not currently released. Apple also is rumored to announce an updated MacBook Air.
Apple Watch
The Apple Watch, originally announced by Apple in September 2014, is known to come in three different collections: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition. The Apple Watch will come in two different screen sizes: 38mm and 42mm. Apple Watch will feature either stainless steel or space grey with a sapphire display. The Apple Watch Sport will have an aluminum case with a strengthened Ion-X glass display. Apple Watch Edition will feature a 18-karat gold case in either yellow gold or rose gold, with a sapphire display. The Apple Watch is rumored to go on sale in April and start at $349.
Updated MacBook Air
Apple is also rumored to release a new MacBook Air. There have been rumors floating around for the past few months talking about a possible 12-inch laptop with Retina Display. The question is if this would be a new line of MacBook to go along with the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models, or if it would be an updated MacBook Air model. Other Possible Announcements
Apple TV could possibly also see an update during this event, although it does not currently seem likely. The Apple TV last saw a major update in March 2012. The current Apple TV is in its third generation.
